1. The Core Principle: Zero Personal Data Collection

SomaFocus does not require you to create an account, register an email address, provide your name, or log in. We operate no external cloud database storing your personal information.

2. Information Handled Locally On Your Device

The following information is processed and stored exclusively in a secure, local SQLite database on your physical device:

• Focus Sessions & Sprints: Duration of sessions, timestamps, completion status, and friction notes.
• Micro-Actions & Tasks: Custom task names, steps, and pacing configurations.
• Preferences: Audio presets, haptic settings, scene visuals, and reminder configurations.

None of this data is ever transmitted to, stored on, or accessible by Conem Labs or any third party. Deleting the application from your device permanently deletes this local data.

3. Device Hardware & Sensors

• Motion Sensors (Accelerometer): When enabled, SomaFocus reads the device's physical orientation strictly in real time to power “Desk Puck” mode (detecting when your iPhone is placed face down to blank the display and minimize visual clutter). Sensor data is processed entirely in volatile memory on-device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.
• Audio & Haptics: Procedural 40 Hz audio and tactile heartbeat haptics are synthesized in real time on your device hardware without recording or accessing any audio inputs (microphones are never accessed).
• Local Notifications: Focus reminders and interval nudges are scheduled and triggered strictly on your local device.

4. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases (Third-Party Services)

SomaFocus offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions (“SomaFocus Pro”) via Apple In-App Purchases.

• Payment Processing: All financial transactions are handled directly and securely by Apple Inc. Conem Labs never sees, receives, or stores your credit card number or billing information.
• RevenueCat: We utilize RevenueCat to manage and validate subscription entitlements. RevenueCat processes anonymous transactional metadata (an anonymous random user identifier and Apple App Store receipt validation tokens) solely to verify your active subscription status. 5. Analytics & Tracking

• No Third-Party Ad Networks: SomaFocus contains zero third-party advertising SDKs.
• No Cross-App Tracking: We do not track your activity across other apps or websites, and we do not request or access Apple’s Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA).
• Apple Diagnostic Data: If you have opted into sharing crash reports and diagnostics with app developers in your iOS system settings, Apple provides us with anonymized, aggregated crash data solely to help resolve technical bugs.

6. Children’s Privacy

SomaFocus does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. Because our application collects no personal identifiers, it complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

7. Your Data Rights (GDPR & CCPA Compliance)

Under applicable privacy laws (such as GDPR in Europe and CCPA/CPRA in California), you have rights regarding your personal data. Because Conem Labs does not store, link, or have access to any identifiable personal data, you have complete sovereignty over your data directly on your device:

• Access & Export: All your data resides within your local device storage.
• Deletion: You can erase all data at any time by clearing the app data or uninstalling SomaFocus.
